Welcome Baby Blake! {Langley, Surrey, Vancouver Newborn Photographer}
There is something uniquely special about every newborn session that I do, whether a family is welcoming their first baby or their sixth! But when it’s Grandma that first contacts me about capturing images of her very first grandchild, that touches my heart. My own girls are only 8 and 10, and I cannot quite put myself there yet, but I can anticipate that being there when/if my children have children, will be beyond amazing.
Baby Blake is his parent’s first child and his Grandma’s first grandchild. Grandma arranged for him to come in and have portraits taken and capture him in the very first few days of his life. He is just so adorable, his session was lovely and I’m so pleased to share some of my favourites from his session here.
I absolutely love this “drawer” prop that I have for my newborn sessions. Seriously, is there anything cuter than a baby in a drawer?!
I also love when parents request a set of black and white images as part of their newborn session. These fine art images are some of my very favourites. Here is baby Blake posed on his own, in his Mom and Dad’s hands and, lastly, in his Grandma’s hands (how special is that?!). I love the feeling of connection these images evoke and I think they portray not only how small he is, but also just how much this boy is loved.
Baby Blake ended his session by waking up and giving us a big newborn smile. What a guy!
I am still getting the hang of my new website and while I am working towards blogging on a more regular basis, I do a much better job keeping my Facebook and Instagram pages up to date, so if you like what you see, please like my page here and follow me here, to keep up to date with what’s happening at Liana Maione Photography!
